How is GPA calculated?
We use the standard 4.0 unweighted scale (A = 4.0, B = 3.0, C = 2.0, D = 1.0, F = 0.0) and apply weighted bonuses of +1.0 for AP and dual-enrollment courses and +0.5 for honors. The formula is GPA = sum of (grade points × credits) ÷ sum of credits, recalculated in real time as you enter courses.
What does a high school transcript need to include?
Eight things: school name and contact information, student name and date of birth, courses grouped by year, a grade for each course, a credit value for each course, cumulative GPA, a grading-scale key, and a graduation date with an administrator signature.
